This set up is perfect for recording DJ mixes. Simply plug the cable from your mixer into the xlr inputs on the zoom, arm inputs 1 & 2 to record and then press the record button. Often when recording DJ mixes, the DJ turns the volume up over the course of the evening, so make sure to keep the input levels low so that the audio doesn’t clip. You’ll see the levels on the screen of the zoom recorder as soon as you start playing the music. Keep it well below -6db :)
